RESCUE
 

There are occasions when a Poodle may become homeless. Often, an orphaned Poodle may be found by a good samaritan who is kind enough to bring the dog off the streets. Some times keeping the foundling does not work out for the good samaritan. In such a instance, the Poodle Club of Central California participates in "Rescue".

Bay Area Poodle Rescue

"Bay Area Poodle Rescue is a nonprofit rescue organization located in the San Francisco Bay Area. BAPR is dedicated to rescuing poodles and poodle mixes. We place our dogs in Northern California only. Our Mission is to rescue and re-home adoptable poodles that have been abandoned in shelters or surrendered by their owners. We also act as a resource for poodle owners and potential poodle owners who have questions about the breed. We primarily serve Northern California, but provide referrals to other rescues and resources when we receive inquiries from out of our service area..."

Nor Cal Poodle Rescue
"NorCal Poodle Rescue Inc., is a group of unpaid volunteers dedicated to finding homes for poodles and poodle mixes in need of a second chance throughout Northern California and Southern Oregon. We respond to shelters, humane societies, and individuals. We re-home all three varieties of Poodles, - toys, miniatures, and standards and provide veterinary support when needed. We are a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
