Article 1, Section 1: Membership shall be open to those in good standing with the American Kennel Club, who subscribe to the purposes of this Club, and have bred, owned, exhibited, or judged Poodles, or are members of the immediate family of a person who has bred, owned, exhibited, or judged Poodles. While membership is to be unrestricted as to residence, the Club's primary purpose is to be representative of the breeders and exhibitors in its immediate area.
Each applicant for membership must have attended at least three general meetings in a twelve month period before submitting his/her application. Each applicant for membership shall apply on the Club's official application form as approved by the Board of Directors which shall provide that the applicant agrees to abide by these constitution and bylaws and the rules of the American Kennel Club. the application shall state the name and address of the applicant and it shall carry the sponsoring signatures of two members in good standing not residing in the same household. Accompanying the application, the prospective member shall submit initiation fees and dues payment for the current year.
